ATT Internet Outage Impacting GCC VPN Connectivity

Uptime Impact: 18 hours, 4 minutes, and 25 seconds
Resolved
Resolved

AT&T has broadly resolved the service outage that was impacting some associates' ability to connect to the GCC Cisco AnyConnect VPN.

If you are still experiencing connectivity issues, please check the AT&T outage tracker for the latest status in your zip code and contact AT&T directly for estimated restoration timing: https://www.att.com/outages/

For associates who implemented the temporary VPN workaround on Monday, please revert those changes (see instructions below) and return your VPN connection settings to their standard configuration.

If you have any questions or require assistance reverting the workaround, please contact the Tech Deck.

Reverting the Temporary Cisco AnyConnect VPN Workaround

If you implemented the temporary VPN workaround during the AT&T outage, please restore your VPN settings to their standard configuration:

  • Open Cisco Secure Client (AnyConnect).
  • In the connection field, replace 69.7.161.82 with vpn.blinds.com.
  • Click the gear/settings icon.
  • Re-enable "Block connections to untrusted servers" by checking the box.
  • Save the change and reconnect to the VPN using vpn.blinds.com.

Note: The workaround was intended only for use during the AT&T outage. Returning to the standard configuration ensures VPN connections use the expected server name and security settings.
