We've now resolved the incident. Thanks for your patience.
The email issue in Salesforce has been resolved. Salesforce rolled out new features over the weekend that required us to enable one of the new options. I was unable to find the answer online, so I had to contact their support for assistance. Fortunately, it only affected about 15 users.
Some users are unable to send emails in Salesforce. There is a work around while we are getting it fixed.
